Physical Therapist

Accredited Physical TherapistJoin a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for musculoskeletal, vascular, and neurological conditions tailored to each patient's needs. This role involves educating patients, their families, and healthcare associates, while serving as a vital link between patients, physicians, nursing staff, and social services.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality patient care using clinical expertise, including evaluation, treatment planning, patient and family education, safety procedures, and effective communication with all involved parties. Patients range from pediatric to geriatric.Operate therapeutic equipment such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, exercise devices, and wound care tools.Guide patients in the use of assistive devices, braces, orthotics, prosthetics, and orthopedic equipment.Assist patients with mobility, strengthening exercises, muscle reeducation, gait training, daily living activities, and functional rehabilitation.Adapt therapy techniques for patients with cognitive or physical limitations.Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with healthcare accreditation standards and departmental policies.Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including peer review and patient care evaluation.Foster excellent communication and customer service with patients, colleagues, and other departments.Supervise aides, students, and volunteers.Support departmental functions and contribute to staff education.Pursue ongoing professional development relevant to clinical practice.Education and Experience:Graduation from an accredited Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy program recognized by national associations such as the American Physical Therapy Association. A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree is required. Continuing education and active participation in professional organizations are encouraged.Licensure and Certifications:1. Must hold or be eligible for licensure in the applicable state. 2. CPR certification is mandatory. Work hours are scheduled from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, full-time (40 hours per week).
