Your mission is to ensure three commitments are fulfilled for every child in your group: genuine enthusiasm for school, accelerated learning at twice the standard rate, and acquisition of skills beyond traditional academic content. You will also develop the Guides responsible for delivering these same outcomes throughout your campus. Data underpins every choice, and every interaction is in-person. Your time divides between direct student engagement with your cohort and coaching the Guides under your leadership—both held to identical standards: documented progress without compromise. When a Guide's session underperforms, you bypass formal reporting; instead, you observe, discuss, and resolve it immediately. You will witness reserved students presenting with confidence before adults. You will observe a child who once “despised school” requesting to remain after hours. And you will recognize that the rigor you maintained enabled their transformation, because upholding high standards communicates your belief in their capacity to meet them. You may establish a new campus from inception, building the foundational culture that shapes the institution. As operations mature, your role evolves from hands‑on builder to leadership coach, cultivating the team that extends Alpha's approach throughout your territory. What You Will Be Doing Facilitating one‑hour live workshops on life skills and social‑emotional learning (SEL) for K‑8 students, covering areas such as public speaking and concentration, using Alpha's established framework. Conducting daily motivational sessions that ensure 100% student achievement of weekly app‑based goals through age‑suitable incentives including school currency systems and performance leaderboards. Developing Guides via direct observation, precise feedback, and practical coaching to ensure they execute workshops with equivalent energy and accuracy. Analyzing Coachbot data and student records to detect students requiring additional support, then providing that intervention directly. Directly mentoring your assigned student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all Guides. What You Won’t Be Doing Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum. Students progress via adaptive applications; your responsibility is elevating the people supporting them. Delivering traditional classroom lectures. You function as 80% motivator, 20% content expert; if whiteboard instruction appeals to you, this role does not align. Compromising standards due to pressure from parents or administration. When a student achieves 99%, the response remains “not yet”—and you will receive full support to maintain that expectation. Basic Requirements Currently located in or prepared to relocate to Beverly Hills, CA; Piedmont, CA; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Miami, FL; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Seattle, WA (relocation assistance provided). Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred; traditional teaching certifications not desired). Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related area. Demonstrated experience creating and executing educational programs, curricula, or training systems. Proven history of managing teams of 5 or more individuals, including responsibility for recruitment and performance‑driven termination decisions. Background in coaching, mentoring, or delivering constructive feedback to enhance engagement and outcomes. Direct experience working with children ages 5–14 in educational or developmental contexts. Skilled in leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Nice‑to‑have Requirements Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or Business. Experience as an athletic coach, camp director, or youth program coordinator where you directly motivated children toward quantifiable objectives. History coaching adults in positions where performance was measured and evaluated. Confidence engaging large groups of children. The presence that commands attention in a room full of 8‑year‑olds. Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
