What You'll Do:

• As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling breathing apparatus units through various tasks including hose assembly, soldering, filling, testing, and final product closure.
• You'll work at multiple stations, ensuring each component meets quality standards.
• Your teamwork and attention to detail will be essential as you collaborate with others to produce reliable, top-quality products.
• Use a variety of hand tools and specialized machinery, and be prepared to cross-train across different assembly tasks to support the overall manufacturing process.

Required Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform detailed hand assembly and fine manipulation
• Basic computer skills for reporting production data
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures

Nice to Have Skills:

• Manufacturing or assembly experience
• Familiarity with hand tools and specialized machinery such as soldering irons, torque wrenches, and can seamers

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Other Requirements:

• Capable of working in a team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work in various assembly stations as needed
• Cross-training required to enhance versatility
