Floater Legal Assistant

Prestigious mid-size Triad-based law firm has an opening for a Floater Legal Assistant. Must have Law Firm experience, and be an expert user of MS Word. Experience in multiple practice groups is a huge plus. Experience in Commercial Real Estate is a plus but is not required. Firm offers competitive salary, an PAID INSURANCES + annual bonus, and a relaxed, friendly work atmosphere. Schedule is Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM, IN OFFICE (no remote), and attendance on Fridays is VERY important. REQUIREMENTS Complete proficiency with using MS Word to draft, format, edit and finalize legal documents such as Pleadings, Motions, Legal Briefs, & Discovery documents to court- or client-ready standards; clean up attorney drafts, format complex pleadings, prep documents for filing without supervision, catch formatting and citation errors prior to submission, etc. Must be proactive & able to learn quickly, in order to work with different practice groups within the firm.
