Job Title

RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Schedule / Job Type

Direct Hire | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:15 PM (some 6:00 AM starts) | Rotating Schedule | 30-minute call response required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a dedicated CVOR environment, supporting 2 cardiovascular-specific suites within a 15-suite OR
• Assist with 3–6 cardiovascular cases per day including CABG, valve replacements, carotid endarterectomies, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with endovascular intervention, AAA repair, VATS, and sternal repairs
• Collaborate with surgical technologists and a CSFA within a team-based OR setting
• Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Adhere to hospital dress code; hospital-provided scrubs are supplied

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Prior CVOR experience required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with a high-volume OR environment and a broad range of cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• Experience working with EPIC EMR
• Comfort working alongside surgical technologists and CSFAs in a collaborative OR team
