Tech - IR/Special Procedures

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a Travel Special Procedures Tech to support interventional radiology and stress testing units. The role involves assisting with various radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting on a day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for special procedures in accordance with protocol.
• Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and other radiology devices.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any adverse reactions during procedures.
• Maintain sterile environments and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure procedure success.
• Adhere to safety standards and institutional policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a radiology or special procedures technologist.
• Current certification in ARRT or equivalent.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
