Job Title: Production Manager Location: Huntingdon, PA Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $135,000-150,000 Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0

Overview: Seeking a Production/Manufacturing Manager role where I can leverage 5+ years of production leadership experience to drive operational excellence, develop high-performing teams, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly employees.
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for results.
• Support employee development through training, cross-training, and succession planning.
• Foster positive employee engagement and maintain effective communication throughout the workforce.
• Direct daily manufacturing activities to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved.
• Monitor production performance and implement actions to improve safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze production metrics and identify opportunities to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Manage production priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.
• Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, production, and safety issues.
• Support implementation of standard work, visual management, and process controls.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Participate in capital improvement projects and equipment installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing supervisors and hourly employees within a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Experience in fiberglass, composites, plastics, chemical processing, or related industries preferred.
• Proven track record of improving safety, quality, productivity, and employee performance.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and drive accountability.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze operational data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
