Do you have a passion for caring for infants during the most important stage of their development? Are you a patient, nurturing, and dedicated early childhood educator who believes every child deserves a safe, loving, and engaging environment? If so, we invite you to join our Clarkston, MI team as a Lead Infant Teacher .
In this rewarding role, you will help build the foundation for lifelong learning by creating meaningful experiences that support infants' growth, development, and well-being. You will lead the day-to-day activities and have the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience and care for children from 6 weeks to 12 months of age utilizing the High Scope curriculum.
Job Details :
- Status: Regular, full-time
- Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am-4pm
- Pay rate- $16-$20/hour ( based on certification or degree plus years of experience in Early Childhood Education )
- Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI
- Please note this position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation
Requirements
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom required
- CPR Certification
- Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers
