Material Handler

Material Handler / Forklift OperatorThe Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials throughout the facility to support daily operations. This role requires previous forklift experience and a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in an industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facilityStage materials for production, shipping, or storage as requiredMove raw materials, finished goods, and scrap to designated areasVerify materials against paperwork and report discrepanciesAssist with loading and unloading trucksMaintain accurate material flow to support production schedulesPerform basic inspections of forklift equipment and report issuesKeep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsFollow all company safety policies and procedures at all timesQualificationsPrevious forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to certify)Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments preferredAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbsComfortable working on your feet for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessReliable attendance and punctualityWork EnvironmentIndustrial/warehouse settingExposure to noise, dust, and moving equipmentPPE required (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, etc.)Fast-paced, team-oriented operation
