Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary: This position is for a Registered Nurse with recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience, specializing in IMC/PCU/Stepdown care within a hospital setting. The role involves floating between units to manage a variety of acute patient conditions with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including respiratory distress, septic shock, and cardiac events. Monitor, assess, and document patient statuses accurately, ensuring timely interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Float between inpatient units as required, maintaining flexibility and adherence to policies. Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital policy standards. Complete required modules and ongoing training to maintain clinical credentials. Qualifications: Possess at least 2 years of recent hospital-based Telemetry or Med/Surg experience. Demonstrate previous IMC/PCU/Stepdown experience and proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system. Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications. Be able to handle complex patient cases including respiratory, cardiac, and trauma emergencies. Be vaccinated for the flu and complete a two-step PPD screening.
