REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 8+ years of Salesforce platform architecture and development experience.
• 8+ years of experience with Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, integration patterns, and the Salesforce security model.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, APIs, RAML, DataWeave, and integration orchestration.
• 8+ years of experience integrating Amazon Connect (AWS Connect) with Salesforce Service Cloud or other customer engagement platforms.
• Knowledge of Agentforce architecture, conversational AI, and automation workflows.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and practices, including Gearset, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and enterprise integration standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical leadership skills.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

• Public-sector or government implementation experience.
• Experience with large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Knowledge of customer service operations and contact-center modernization.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

The State of Wisconsin is seeking an experienced CRM Integration Architect III with deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, MuleSoft integrations, Agentforce solutions, and Amazon Connect platforms. The architect will lead enterprise-scale solution design, integration strategy, cloud architecture, DevSecOps alignment, and customer-engagement transformation initiatives. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, solution governance, and close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Salesforce enterprise architectures across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom platform solutions.
• Lead MuleSoft API-led connectivity initiatives, integration architecture, and enterprise data-exchange strategies.
• Design and optimize Amazon Connect contact-center solutions integrated with Salesforce Service Cloud and omnichannel workflows.
• Develop Agentforce-enabled automation and AI-driven customer-engagement strategies.
• Provide architectural oversight for CI/CD, DevSecOps, deployment governance, and environment management.
• Map and transfer legacy-system functions to Salesforce applications.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Define integration patterns, security standards, and platform best practices.
• Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance-optimization initiatives.
• Document technical architecture, system diagrams, interface specifications, and operational runbooks.
• Guide remote teams and contractors, conduct technical reviews, and mentor team members.
• Participate in backlog grooming and help right-size delivery efforts.
• Serve as a backup for developers and assist with advanced coding issues as required.
• Support release management and DevSecOps pipeline development.
• Guide data decisions and data governance for AI and non-AI applications.
• Contribute to enterprise digital-transformation and customer-engagement modernization initiatives.
