Overview City/State: Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring a Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist II for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a full-time, day shift in Harrisonburg, VA. Hours: Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with required call. Call: Rotating every 4th weekend and 1 day during the week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Sign-on bonus: Up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates. About the department The Sentara RMH Heart and Vascular team is comprised of cardiologists, electrophysiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, and interventional cardiologists who provide high-quality heart and vascular services to the community. Role and responsibilities The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist II performs complex invasive interventional procedures such as diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician. Responsibilities include: educating patients and families, operating equipment safely, completing department documentation, maintaining equipment to be clean and operational, maintaining adequate inventory for examinations, and participating in departmental performance improvement activities.
