Job Description
An Automotive Technician will work in a small independent shop environment, collaborating with a close-knit team of 2-5 technicians. Reporting directly to the service manager, this role focuses on delivering expert vehicle repair and maintenance services to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
- Repair and replace brake components to ensure vehicle safety
- Perform engine repairs, troubleshooting complex engine issues
- Service transmissions, including diagnostics and repairs
- Diagnose and repair electrical system faults
- Replace worn or damaged parts with quality components
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automotive repair
- Own tools required
