Education Level High School Diploma Work Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and cash handling Duties/Responsibilities Assist with Safe Deposit department responsibilities. Balance currency, coin, and checks in the cash drawer at the end of the shift and compare the totaled amounts with the data displayed on the computer screen. Enter customer transactions into the computer and issue receipts. Explain, promote, or refer products or services such as traveler’s checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier’s checks. Notify Personal Bankers of necessary holds and provide supporting documentation. Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and carefully examine checks for proper endorsement.
