In this unarmed role, you will support a caring environment through professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while using an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to daily responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, verifying permissions and directing visitors to appropriate departments when needed. Observe and report security-related concerns such as trespassing, loitering, property issues, and/or policy violations, while supporting a professional environment for everyone at the location. Minimum Requirements: Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
