When you’re working in the deli department, you’ll be on the front lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. Base Pay Range $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr Responsibilities Ensure the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including performing safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer, cooler, and deli area in accordance with company policies: receive and stock merchandise, zone the area, set up and clean displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise, and complete required audits, paperwork, logs, and other documentation. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Follow food handling policies, operate and sanitize equipment, comply with cold‑chain procedures, clean the freezer/cooler/deli area, monitor equipment, and report issues to management. Qualities & Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Must complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Prior experience and passion for stocking and customer service. Strong focus on member satisfaction. Ability to solve problems and innovate.
