Transportation Operations Coordinator (JN -092026-429909) San Bernardino, California Salary: USD25 - USD26 per hour Position Overview Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated Transportation Operations Coordinator to join their client’s team in California. This is a hybrid opportunity supporting transportation operations, driver communications, customer service, compliance, and administrative functions. Will serve as a central point of communication between drivers, customers, payroll, compliance, recruiting, and operations teams. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, relationship management, documentation oversight, and operational coordination to ensure a seamless service experience. After successfully completing approximately 30-60 days of onsite training , employees will transition to a hybrid work schedule based on performance and business needs. Schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM Pay: $25.00 - $26.00/hour + incentives Responsibilities Maintain excellence in customer service, ensuring all clients, internal and external, are treated equally while utilizing core values. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all data entry into Ultra Staff. Track and maintain company documents to stay compliant. Retrieve sensitive information from internal staff members. Collaborate with team members and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Interact with customers and internal team members via telephone, email, and online chats, providing support and information on assigned services. Resolve problems and concerns with appropriate actions. Maintain files containing confidential information and manage client billing info. Assist with the annual customer rate increase and interface with payroll and billing. Collaborate with Sales, Recruiting, Compliance, and Payroll to ensure cohesiveness. Emphasize a culture that prioritizes worker safety. Other related job duties may be assigned. Qualifications 3+ years of transportation experience preferred. Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently and meet deadlines under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to persuade an audience. Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population. Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills. Desire to work in a collaborative team environment. Valid driver’s license and a car that can be used for work. Required Work Hours Friday to Tuesday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM Jose's department requires background and drug-screening. Enjoy a schedule from Wednesday through Sunday. Involvement in CRM, Driver and internal communication is essential, with the ability to handle challenging situations with resilience.
