Security Officer - Swing

Security Officer

The Security Officer's main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets. Responsibilities include the safety and welfare of all guests and employees, maintaining order and keeping the peace on the property, performing area-based security patrols in assigned areas throughout the property, delivering positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions, exercising good judgment in solving problems and resolution of guest issues, providing medical assistance to persons in need, including First Aid and CPR when necessary, upholding and enforcing gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations, reading, interpreting, and analyzing security reports and other company documents daily, conducting investigations into a variety of internal and external incidents and creating detailed reports to reflect findings, monitoring incidents resulting in loss and investigating to determine the source of the loss, working a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the operation, including nights and weekends when necessary, displaying professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic, standing or walking for long periods of time, performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors/Manager, performing legal detainments when it is legal to do so, verifying casino guests are of legal age before entering any gaming areas, and being able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds at a time.

Qualifications include one year or more of law enforcement, or security experience (preferred), American Red Cross or Equivalent Adult First Aid/CPR Certification or the ability to obtain one upon hire, having or being able to obtain any gaming license that may be required, and being a 21 team player with a guest first attitude.

Pay Range USD $14.50 - USD $16.00 /Hr. Tipped Position This position does not earn tips.
