ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
Document patient care activities and maintain accurate health records.
Assist in the education of patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.

Schedule

This position typically requires 12-hour shifts, with the possibility of day or night rotations. Nurses are expected to work 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday requirements as needed.

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in an ICU setting.
Active RN license in Minnesota required.
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Prior experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is preferred.
Candidate must not be a new graduate and should possess the necessary skills and experience to excel in this role.
Candidates with temporary licenses will be considered, contingent upon steps being taken to obtain a full Minnesota license.

Additional Notes

Requested time off (RTO) must be 7 days or less.
Floating to PCU, MS, and Tele may be necessary as patient care demands require.
