Position Overview:

As a Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be assigned to one of our healthcare facilities near Rochester, NY, providing high-quality patient care in diverse settings. This role is ideal for RNs seeking flexibility, new experiences, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in different healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care tailored to individual needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs, identify changes in condition, and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and families, to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN licensure in New York State (or ability to obtain).
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• BLS or ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience in a medical/surgical setting preferred.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to travel and adapt to various healthcare settings.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.
