While guests see the excitement on the gaming floor, our Surveillance team works behind the scenes to ensure every experience is safe, secure, compliant, and fair.We're looking for a Surveillance Agent who is detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn. In this role, you'll monitor gaming and non-gaming areas throughout the property, observe and document activity, and help protect company assets, guests, and Team Members. Although you work behind the scenes, you'll be at the center of everything happening across the property.No surveillance experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and development to help you succeed.Boot Hill Casino & Resort's Core Values:Build a diverse team of service-focused individualsProvide consistent and outstanding guest serviceDevelop and create extraordinary entertainment experiencesTake pride in our clean and well-maintained facilitySupport the communities in which we work and liveCelebrate our heritageBe respectful, inclusive, and responsible in all we doKey Responsibilities:Monitor gaming and non-gaming operations using advanced surveillance systems and technologyObserve, document, and report activities to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, internal controls, and company proceduresMonitor casino games, count rooms, slots, cage operations, parking areas, and other designated locationsDetect and document suspicious, unethical, illegal, or policy-violating activities involving guests or Team MembersPrepare accurate, detailed, and timely investigative reportsAssist management, regulatory agencies, and law enforcement with investigations when necessaryHelp protect company assets through proactive observation and documentationSupport guest and Team Member dispute resolution by providing surveillance documentation and evidenceAssist with basic maintenance, testing, and operation of surveillance equipment as assignedEffectively communicate findings and observations with management and other departmentsAssist with the safety and security of all guests and Team MembersMaintain strong knowledge of gaming regulations, Internal Controls, company policies, marketing promotions, and special eventsChampion The Maverick Way through professionalism, integrity, accountability, and teamworkPerform other duties as assignedWhat Makes You a Great Fit:Strong attention to detail and observational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environmentProfessional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive informationWillingness to learn casino operations, gaming regulations, and surveillance proceduresPreferred Experience:Security, surveillance, law enforcement, military, investigations, or related experience preferredPrevious experience with report writing or monitoring systems a plusNo surveillance experience required—we will train the right candidateKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to prepare professional investigative reports and documentationBasic computer proficiency and ability to learn surveillance technologiesAbility to maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial data, casino procedures, company policies, company promotions, investigations, and guest informationAbility to understand and comply with Internal Controls, gaming regulations, BHCR training materials, and all HR policiesAbility to work assigned shift and adapt to changing operational needsPosition Requirements:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredMust be able to obtain and maintain a Kansas Racing and Gaming LicenseAbility to communicate effectively by telephone, radio, and in personAbility to sit, stand, walk, and maintain visual concentration for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 10 poundsMust be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededPosition Details:Full-TimeStarting Pay: $18.00 per hourBenefits:Competitive PayFree Meals Every Shift401(k) Plan with Discretionary Match*Free Life, Dental & Vision Insurance*Health Insurance PackagesPaid Time Off Program*Advancement Opportunities*Ask HR for complete details on available benefits.Ready to protect the game, support your team, and build a career behind the scenes?
