Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- ACLS upon hire OR must hold an active BLS card and obtain AHA ACLS within 60 days of hire
- AHA PALS within six months of hire
- TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred
- 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and reassess patient conditions, planning and implementing care based on established standards and individual patient needs.
- Safely administer medications and intravenous therapy in accordance with protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Provide patient and family education based on assessed learning needs and readiness.
- Identify risks to patient safety and implement measures to prevent incidents.
- Document all patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in accordance with established policies.
