COUNTER/CASHIER

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter (AM/PM) at our Lahaina location. As a vital member of our restaurant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food service industry while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are seeking individuals who are experience with cashiering and have excellent attendance & communication skills.
Salary is hourly plus tips

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with Aloha and take their orders accurately
- Operate the cash register and process various forms of payment
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area
- Answer customer inquiries about menu items, specials, and promotions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with restocking supplies and inventory management
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and making change
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred, but not required
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company policies and procedures
