Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Hawaii Health Systems Corp - East Region.

References must be from the 2 most recent places of employment.
Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to care for patients of the adult, pediatric, neonatal populations. No first assignments.
Unit Details: - Provides continuous airway management, ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support, physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care. - Adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations. - Uses Pyxis medication management, PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac transport ventilator.
Shift & Scheduling: - Holidays as required. -0630-1900
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
