Shipping Clerk

Shift Time: 9AM - 6PM, Monday to Friday In This Role Coordinate driver check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate Prepare and process shipping paperwork, including bills of lading (BOLs), manifests, packing lists, and delivery documents Build and release customer orders in the warehouse management system to support outbound shipping operations Verify shipment accuracy by reviewing order details, quantities, and destination information Communicate with warehouse teams, carriers, and supervisors to ensure efficient load scheduling and execution Maintain accurate shipping records and update system information as needed Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies in a timely manner Support inventory and shipping audits as required Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment while adhering to company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team Be open and honest Reach for excellence Act with responsibility Value the whole person Enjoy the journey The Ideal Person 1+ year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse administration, or distribution center operations preferred High school diploma or GED required Experience working with shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and carrier paperwork Strong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business applications Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal teams Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and occasionally walking the floor to verify shipments and loads Willingness to work overtime as needed Steel-toed boots or shoes required during work hours Four Hands is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
