The Zone Team Leader (ZTL) provides guidance and direction for the successful operation of a particular zone of the retail sales floor. The ZTL oversees merchandising and selling merchandise, ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include merchandising, customer service oversight, and supervisory duties.

Primary responsibilities include executing established procedures, ensuring store standards and compliance, overseeing the door to floor process, supervising associates, ensuring customer service standards, managing scheduling and staffing, communicating company directives, and performing store opening and closing functions.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum two years of retail experience in a supervisory role, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, reading, writing, and speaking English, sound judgment, confidentiality, accuracy, organization, knowledge of industry terms, effective communication, and outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.

Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending and twisting frequently, gripping, reaching, and pinching with arms and hands frequently, squatting, kneeling, balancing, and climbing occasionally, working in a constant state of alertness, and operating a motor vehicle with a valid state-issued license.
