The Queensbury School District is seeking dependable, safety-minded School Bus Drivers to safely transport students to and from school. If you enjoy working with children and are looking for a rewarding position with a school-year schedule, wed love to hear from you!

PAY & BENEFITS

• Permanent Drivers: Starting at $25.32 per hour + benefits
• Drivers Without Benefits: $29.50 per hour
• Paid training provided
• Eligible employees may participate in the NYS Retirement System
• School vacations and summers off

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport students to and from school.
• Follow all traffic laws and district transportation procedures.
• Complete pre- and post-route bus inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns.
• Keep the bus clean and orderly.
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus as needed.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment and address student behavior in accordance with district procedures.
• Attend required training and safety meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years old .
• Must have a clean NYS driver's license and driving record .
• Dependable and responsible.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children.
• Ability to remain calm while maintaining clear expectations for student safety.
