About the Role:
To prepare sushi with precision and creativity. Responsible for ensuring high quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen while providing excellent customer service.

Essential Functions:
•Prepares sushi according to the recipes and Hilton Standards.
•Handles and prepares raw fish and other seafood with attention to freshness and quality.•Creates visually appealing and delicious rolls for our guest while being innovated and staying up to the latest trends.
•Ensures all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation standards.

Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, at the discretion of the manager based on the particular requirements of the hotel.

•Interacts with customers, answers questions about the menu, and provides recommendations. 
•Works collaboratively with the staff to ensure efficient operations and timely service.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

•Ability to stand for an extended period of time and work in fast-paced environment.
•Ability to lift and carry heavy items when necessary.
•Strong attention to details and commitment to food quality and presentation.

Qualifications:

Education:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience:
Previous sushi cook experience preferred.

Licenses and Certificates:
Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates.
