About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active state RN license or Compact license is required prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Experience in MS/Telemetry nursing - Proficiency in interpretation of dysrhythmias - Ability to monitor telemetry on the unit Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Telemetry. The shift is night, working three twelve-hour shifts per week. The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:6. Every other weekend is non-negotiable. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required. The unit is new and is building from the ground up. The current status includes 10 beds opened, with 2 RNs and 1 tech staffing every shift. No off-shift management will be scheduled, but leadership will be accessible by phone during these hours. There will be 24/7 coverage from a house supervisor. The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks if necessary. All required labs must be completed prior to start. Candidates will be prioritized based on licensure status. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. During this period, new assignments may be challenging. Candidates with previous employment in the system must have a separation of one year before returning. RTO must be included with the submission and cannot be adjusted afterward.
