Supply Chain Analyst (Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to support supply chain and operations initiatives for a growing organization in Chicago. This hybrid contract role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with data, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supply planning activities.
Support purchasing, logistics, and operations teams with reporting and analysis.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards and reports for leadership.
Investigate supply chain issues and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and service levels.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support operational goals.
Assist with forecasting, inventory management, and procurement planning.
Maintain accurate data within ERP systems and supply chain platforms.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of supply chain, inventory, procurement, logistics, or operations analysis experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JDE, or similar.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
Manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products industry experience.
