With deep technical expertise and impressive flexibility, we develop solutions and processes that support and accelerate innovation.Join us on our mission to enable current and next-generation therapeutics to improve and save the lives of patients.Role Overview:The QC Analyst II will perform laboratory analysis and sampling of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, cleaning verification samples, stability samples and other miscellaneous samples following relevant SOP's while adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications. This role also involves basic maintenance of technical equipment, use of basic troubleshooting techniques and laboratory stock management.Shift: 7pm-7amCore Responsibilities:Deliver experimental output with a high degree of scientific integrity, both on time and on target, with a focus on qualityInteract with internal customers and with supervision participate in interactions with external clientsCompose Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP documents with guidanceTrain other staff on test methods and QC operationsActively demonstrate strict compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices (cGMP and GDP), Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) and other relevant standards in all aspects of workManages data by following established procedures, standards and processes. Uses the concepts of ALCOA+ to maintain Data IntegrityPerform maintenance and calibration of technical equipment with ability to perform simple troubleshootingCreates, maintains, analyses and/or updates QC data with minimal supervision following established methods and relevant specificationsAlways ensures the security and safe handling of all controlled substances. Strictly adheres to all Company and DEA regulations. Ensures that waste is appropriately characterized, labelled, stored and disposed in compliance with all Company, state and federal regulationsOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications:BS in Chemistry, or equivalent with 2+ years related experience OR MS in Chemistry or equivalentExperience with common analytical techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, NMR, UV-Vis, pH meter, KF, FTIR, or Refractive index is preferredPrevious experience with GMP preferredAbility to read, analyze, and interpret English-language chemical periodicals, scientific journals, and regulatory documentsSalary Range:The salary range for this role is $33/hr-37/hr. This range represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In exceptional cases, compensation may exceed the stated range.All full-time employees are eligible to participate in our annual incentive bonus program.
