Cath Lab Technologist

Role: The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS assists with invasive cardiovascular procedures, supporting physicians and ensuring smooth operation of the cath lab. Responsibilities Assist in teaching and orienting new staff and students. Monitor patient during procedures, interpret dysrhythmias and pressures, operate physiologic recorders. Support physicians as a scrub tech, operate imaging equipment, and assist as a circulator by monitoring patient status and handing supplies. Transport patients, prepare and sterilize the lab, and maintain supplies and inventory. Remove arterial/venous sheaths post-procedure, monitor patient safety, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Demonstrate knowledge of medications, procedures, and sterile techniques. Qualifications & Skills Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or relevant healthcare experience. Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification. RCIS certification within six months of hire, or ARRT and TX RT(R) as alternatives.
