Cook Position
The position of Cook provides for the preparation and distribution of food to patients, visitors and staff of Shriners Hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sanitation according to the guidelines of Serve Safe is practiced at all times.
- Catering functions are prepared on time and to what the customer has ordered
- Ensures patient meals are made according to their diet and are ready on time for tray line.
- Ensures proper temp of all food served in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- The temp of our food is at acceptable level according to or policy and procedure manual
- Prepare cafeteria meals according to specific menu
Required Qualifications:
- ServSafe Food Safety Certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 Years Institutional Cooking
Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
