Power BI Developer

Role Description

LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Power BI Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in the north Central Illinois area!

The Power BI Developer will:

• Design, develop, improve, and support analytical, operational reporting.
• Clarify business objectives, capture requirements, assess, design and develop visualizations and analytical insights.
• Influence and partner with business stakeholders to make data accessible, understandable and available to address business needs and analytical questions.
• Inspire others to leverage self-service reporting and analytic capabilities, including teaching and mentoring others to use Power BI.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years recent experience in BI Development.
• In-depth experience developing within the Power BI platform (including reporting, workspaces, applications, data analysis).
• Experience with working with APIs and databases such as MS SQL Server, including performing data integrations.
• Good fundamental knowledge in data translation concepts and dimensional modeling is preferred.
• Ability to collect requirements, manage expectations, and influence key stakeholders, including front line leaders and subject matter experts.
• Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer.
• Corp to Corp candidates will not be considered.

Requirements

• The base range for this contract position is $30 - $70 per hour, depending on experience.
• Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
• The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations.
• Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
