Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Connecticut
• Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
• Skilled at developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Comfortable working with diverse K-12 student populations
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to the unique needs of each student

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
• Develop measurable, goal-oriented therapy plans tailored to each student
• Collaborate with teachers, other specialists, and families to maximize each student's success
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions about student support
• Maintain accurate records and comply with school and district guidelines
