Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Napa, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit with an average daily census of 10 patients across 14 beds
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements
• Participate in on-call rotations as determined by patient census
• Float to Medical-Surgical and Orthopedics units as needed, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete all required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license required (pending licenses not accepted; compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience (at least 1 year required)
• Seasoned travelers preferred; first-time travelers considered
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the contract
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to Medical-Surgical or Orthopedics units
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with high-census Labor and Delivery environments
