Respiratory Therapist, Full Time

Overview Under the supervision of the Director and/or the Assistant Director of Respiratory Care and at the request of the physician, the respiratory care practitioner sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment and provides therapy used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with respiratory disease, compromise or illness. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities. Shift: 36 hrs per week Responsibilities Set up and operate respiratory care equipment and provide therapy as prescribed to diagnose or treat patients with respiratory disease, compromise, or illness. Qualifications Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for the position, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods; must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr Iredell Health System
