Specialty Medical Office is in search of a full-time RMA/CMA to help assist with day to day functions of our medical practice.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or GED required.
Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant.
Basic computer skills
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification needed.
EMR experience a plus
Clinical Functions:
Prepare exam and treatment rooms.
Prepare patients for examination and treatment by recording patient history and vital signs.
Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for exam rooms
Schedule patients for specialized tests and follow up appointments.
Maintain patient medical records and other information including entry of data into EMR.
Provide phone assessment of patient to provide appropriate clinical treatment.
Work with a variety of personnel and departments to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
