Veterinary Technician

As a Veterinary Technician at our animal clinic, you will play a crucial role in supporting veterinarians in delivering exceptional care to our animal patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medical procedures, administering medications, handling and restraining animals, conducting laboratory tests, performing dental cleanings, and providing compassionate care to our furry patients. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining medical records, organizing inventory, and educating pet owners on proper animal care practices. The role requires a deep passion for animals, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate will have a veterinary technician certification or associate degree, although candidates with relevant experience in veterinary care will also be considered. A strong knowledge of animal behavior, medical terminology, and basic veterinary procedures is required. Experience with anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and surgical assistance is preferred. The ability to lift and restrain animals of varying sizes is essential.
