- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform procedures such as dermabrasion, suturing.
- Provide patient education on health management.
- Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure proper coding for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching urgent care environment to enhance patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with medical practices.
- Proficiency in dermabrasion techniques and other minor surgical procedures.
- Experience working in a medical office setting with familiarity in discharge planning processes.
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks software for efficient patient record management.
- Understanding of coding practices relevant to healthcare billing.
- Ability to work effectively within a teaching urgent care environment, promoting learning among peers.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
