Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in St. Ansgar, Iowa

Join a Thriving Practice
We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to become part of our dynamic team in St. Ansgar. This role offers a busy practice with immediate patient volume and a full spectrum of care, including outpatient services at our clinic and inpatient rounding and emergency care in Osage.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a team of 5 Physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Providers across two clinics.
• Provide comprehensive care from newborns to seniors, with optional shared OB care.
• Enjoy a flexible work schedule, with options for a 4 or 4.5-day work week.
• Utilize on-site lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services.
• Access support from specialists, including a Podiatrist, General Surgeon, Optometrist, and CRNAs.
• Admit patients to the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital recognized as a Top 100 hospital.
• Participate in a wide range of services, including General Surgery, pulmonary rehab, speech therapy, and more.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (must achieve certification within 3 years of eligibility).
• Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school.
• Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eligible for a State of Iowa physician license, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate, and Federal DEA Certificate.
• All offers are contingent upon successful completion of references, background checks, physical exams, and drug screenings.

Compensation and Benefits

Attractive Compensation Package
We offer a highly competitive compensation structure, including:

• A bonus package totaling $250,000.
• A two-year income guarantee of $301,290.
• A moving allowance of up to $15,000.
• 34 days of paid time off (PTO) based on base salary; 40 days of PTO based on production.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of $6,000.
