AV Technician

Job Overview AV Technician – Pay Range: $20-22/hr. Location: Rosemead, California 91770. Duration: 6 months, ending December 31. Key Responsibilities Provide mobile, onsite AV break‑fix support for general users across SCE's Rosemead campus and surrounding regional sites. Move between conference rooms throughout the day, troubleshoot and resolve AV issues to keep meetings running on time. Respond to tickets, fix broken equipment, and restore productivity quickly. This role is hands‑on, reactive, and requires a service‑oriented, feet‑on‑the‑ground technician mindset. Must‑Haves Onsite in Rosemead, CA – hard requirement; candidate must be local or willing to commute daily. Willingness to travel between SCE sites daily – reliable transportation and willingness to drive during the workday are mandatory. Onsite desktop support background with AV or conference room experience – core profile. Desktop support technicians who have handled conference‑room break‑fix as part of their day‑to‑day responsibilities are the target. AV break‑fix capability – comfortable troubleshooting displays, projectors, video‑conferencing systems, microphones, speakers, control panels, cabling, and signal flow. Professional onsite demeanor – calm, polite, and able to resolve issues without disrupting business. Executive presence is a plus. Self‑directed in a ticket‑based environment – comfortable working tickets, prioritizing urgent meeting‑impacting issues, and managing own day across multiple locations.
