AI Product Manager

This opportunity will be supporting a globally recognized e-commerce and technology leader's Worldwide Sustainability division, specifically within the Human Rights and Social Impact organization. The successful candidate will serve as a senior-level technical program manager and external-facing advocate, bridging cutting-edge AI-driven supply chain risk assessment technology with cross-industry partners, global coalitions, and corporate peers. Operating at the intersection of technology, policy, and human rights, this role demands both deep technical fluency and the executive presence to drive industry-wide adoption of proprietary machine learning tools designed to combat forced labor, child labor, and other human rights risks across complex global supply chains. This is a high-visibility, high-impact contract role requiring on-site presence at one of three designated sustainability hub locations: Arlington, VA (primary), Seattle, WA, or New York City, NY.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison alongside partnership leads, articulating how the AI-powered human rights risk assessment tool operates — including data models, API integrations, scoring frameworks, and minimum viable products — to external corporate and coalition partners
• Drive cross-industry adoption by persuading peer brands (e.g., consumer goods and retail companies) and global forum partners (e.g., World Economic Forum) to align with established supply chain risk standards and shared tooling to reduce redundant supplier audit burdens
• Analyze external partner supply chains and technical architectures to identify integration gaps and ecosystem limitations, channeling structured feedback to internal data science and product engineering teams
• Represent the organization's technical human rights roadmap at industry events, working groups, and partner forums, delivering credible and compelling messaging to non-technical policy executives and technical stakeholders alike
• Interpret complex algorithmic risk scores and predictive data outputs, translating them into actionable frameworks and recommendations for corporate and policy decision-makers
• Support technical messaging and escalation management during high-profile partner engagements and sensitive external situations
• Coordinate project timelines, assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and prepare status reports for senior leadership and upper management

Skills

• Strong technical fluency in machine learning and predictive AI concepts, including data ingestion pipelines, API integrations, scoring models, and MVP frameworks — with the ability to communicate these concepts fluently to both technical and non-technical audiences without directly writing code
• Proven ability to influence external, multi-organizational stakeholders to adopt software platforms, data-sharing standards, or technical tools across complex organizational boundaries
• Demonstrated data literacy, including the ability to evaluate data architectures, interpret algorithmic outputs, and communicate technical constraints and trade-offs clearly
• Executive presence and professional maturity to represent the organization credibly on global stages and negotiate with senior corporate and policy stakeholders
• Strong project and program management skills, including deadline-setting, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, persuasive narratives
• Exposure to retail supply chains, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or complex multi-tier global manufacturing networks (preferred)
• Familiarity with global supply chain due diligence frameworks, modern slavery regulations, or social compliance audit standards (preferred)

Experience

• 7 or more years of experience in technical program management, partner-facing product management, or a related field involving external stakeholder engagement and technology advocacy
• Demonstrated track record of driving adoption of software platforms or data standards across multiple external organizations
• Experience working within or alongside sustainability, human rights, social compliance, or supply chain risk functions is a strong asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a technical, analytical, or business-related discipline
• Postgraduate degree (Master's or equivalent) in a technical, analytical, or business field strongly preferred given the technical complexity of the role

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $46.00/hour - $52.00/hour.
