Assistant Manager Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services, has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual who will assist our General Manager to lead the team as an Assistant Manager. This role requires team management skills, hard work, and the ability to deliver and train others to provide top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care. The successful candidate should love dogs. Upon successful completion of training, you may bring your own dog to work with you! Clean and Safe Environment Maintain and update cleaning schedule, and hold team accountable to Dogtopia’s safety and cleaning standards Inventory management of cleaning, dog and First Aid supplies Dismiss dogs proactively with ongoing behavioral issues and monitor action plans to retain those with minor issues Financial and Administrative Utilize training opportunities for the team such as dog injuries, billing issues, or customer complaints Actively communicate team developmental needs and issues to management to ensure growth Develop team in up‑selling and using dog evaluations to grow revenue Communicate any concerns or needs to franchise owner proactively after attempting to resolve issues Work with team to assure our Quality of Care sets the standards for dog care Customer Service and Presentation Maintain a neat and organized Front Desk team and area at all times, holding team to professional clean dress code Set the example for the team on the 3 Ss (smile, story, and satisfaction) and hold accountable to internal and external customer service standards Keep team members engaged in their duties Strive for high customer review ratings Enjoy your team, grow your team, and play to your fullest potential As the Assistant Manager you are responsible to work with all customers and team members to ensure our customer experience sets the highest standards and satisfaction of our customers.
