Laborer

Location: Fairbanks, AK (Fort Wainwright)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime opportunities available as needed

Looking for steady, hands-on work where you can stay active and every day brings something different?

From moving materials and pressure washing to snow removal and grounds work, you'll tackle a variety of hands-on tasks that help keep Fort Wainwright's military housing community clean, safe, and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Assist maintenance teams with a variety of labor tasks throughout a military housing community
Deliver and pick up tools, equipment, and parts throughout the community as needed
Load, unload, move, and transport supplies, materials, and appliances to job sites
Perform pressure washing, debris removal, snow removal, and general property cleanup
Assist with grounds work, including digging, brush removal, and site preparation
Help prepare homes and work areas by removing flooring, damaged drywall, and other materials for maintenance and renovation projects
Assist with community event setup, property cleanups, and other general labor assignments as needed
Safely operate hand tools and power equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Minimum Requirements

Previous general labor or other hands-on work experience is helpful
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Must be able to gain post access (REAL ID required)
Ability to understand and follow spoken and written instructions
Reliable, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team
Background screening is part of the hiring process
Must support a drug free work environment
