Schedule Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide critical care to pediatric patients in the CVPICU. This role requires a highly skilled nurse who can manage patients ranging from neonates to adults with cardiac diseases. The nurse will float to the PICU as needed, ensuring high‑quality care and support for critically ill children. Responsibilities Manage care for intubated and ventilated patients. Administer inotropes and vasoactive medications. Provide standard care to reduce CLABSI through the use of central lines, arterial lines, and PIVs. Maintain a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:2. Transfer and admit patients within the same shift as necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, specifically in a critical care environment. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Travel nursing experience is highly preferred. Valid nursing license for Ohio or Multi‑State Compact license.
