Job Details\n \n Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg \n Type: Travel Assignment \n Location: Arlington, TX 76015 \n Start Date: September 22, 2026 \n Duration: 13 weeks \n Shift Duration: 12-hour nights \n Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours \n Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 - $1,420 \n Unit Setting: 30-bed Med/Surg unit \n EMR: Meditech \n Floating: As needed based on hospital needs \n Job Requirements\n \n Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg, medical-surgical, or acute care nursing experience \n Active Registered Nurse (RN) license \n Current BLS certification \n Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills \n Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment \n Experience with post-surgical and adult medical-surgical patient populations preferred \n Responsibilities\n \n Deliver safe, compassionate bedside care to Med/Surg patients with a focus on positive outcomes \n Monitor patient status, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team \n Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to the plan of care \n Care for post-surgical patients, including those recovering from procedures such as cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement \n Support patients with pain management and CIWA-related care needs \n Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and support staff to maintain smooth unit flow and quality patient care \n Maintain accurate documentation and follow established hospital policies, Med/Surg standards, and safety protocols \n \n Apply now to join a supportive Texas healthcare team and take the next step in your travel Registered Nurse career in Arlington, TX.
