Assists Radiologists with inpatient and outpatient consultations and minimally invasive imaging-based procedures. Coordinates with multiple departments to ensure timely performance of procedures and follows up on incomplete or incorrect exams. Provides necessary education to patients, family, and medical staff about exams and procedures, addressing patient needs and anxieties. Assists Radiologists in providing timely results to ancillary departments and physician offices, facilitating physician-to-physician communication. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge and skill with sterile technique. [Required] Knowledge of interventional procedures. [Required] Demonstrates calm, professional, and effective listening and speaking skills, and applies nonverbal communication techniques as appropriate during all communication. [Required] Proficiency in multi-tasking by monitoring worklists, handling multiple phone lines. [Required] Demonstrates a willingness to learn/adapt to new technologies and protocols and help develop the knowledge and competency of coworkers and Radiology team members. [Required] Education Associate [Preferred] Bachelor's [Preferred] High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Field of Study in Radiologic Science Work Experience 3+ experience assisting with image-based procedures.
