Site Safety Manager

???? Location: Lebanon, IN
???? Duration: 7-10 Months (Start: Early/Mid October)
???? Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

???? Pay Rate: $49/hr
⏱️ Overtime: Yes
???? Per Diem: $125/day (Days Worked Only, for non-local candidates)
???? Completion Bonus: $150/month
???? Pay Frequency: Weekly
⏰ Schedule: Approximately 50 Hours/Week
???? Additional Schedule Details: Typical work hours are 6:00-7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Saturdays may be required based on project needs.

Required Qualifications

✔ OSHA 30 Certification
✔ Construction safety experience supporting active job sites
✔ Strong field safety presence and hazard recognition skills
✔ Experience conducting site inspections and safety observations
✔ Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, supervision, and project leadership
✔ Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Data Center Construction Experience
⭐ General Contractor Safety Experience
⭐ CHST, ASP, CSP, STS-C, or other BCSP credential
⭐ Experience supporting large commercial or industrial construction projects
⭐ Familiarity with contractor management and compliance programs
⭐ Experience conducting incident investigations and corrective actions

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide daily field safety oversight for active construction operations
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
• Verify equipment inspection processes are being completed and documented
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
• Review safety compliance throughout multiple project work areas
• Reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel and subcontractors
• Coordinate safety activities with project management and supervision
• Assist with safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Participate in incident response and investigations as necessary
• Monitor changing site conditions and emerging project risks
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the jobsite
