Pharmacist In Charge
Oversee comprehensive pharmacy operations and ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance. This direct hire opportunity requires expert leadership in managing multi-state dispensing activities, maintaining quality assurance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold pharmacy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pharmacy operations including order review, medication verification, dispensing, labeling, recordkeeping, and shipment processes.
- Guarantee compliance with state board of pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, licensing, inspections, audits, and multi-state dispensing/shipping protocols.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures tailored for multi-state operations and regulatory compliance.
- Provide clinical and quality oversight for enteral nutrition therapy, drug utilization review (DUR), adverse event reporting, and overall quality assurance.
- Collaborate closely with clinical, intake, operations, reimbursement, human resources, and compliance departments.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and facilitate credentialing, accreditation, and regulatory audit processes.
Qualifications:
- PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program.
- Active, unrestricted New Jersey pharmacist license required.
- Ability and commitment to obtain pharmacist licensure in Tennessee, New York, and Massachusetts within 6 months.
